Specification

Manufactured in Stainless Steel to the highest quality and standards. Following extensive electrical and hydraulic tests. The unit works well even in low water levels. They are easy to dismantle for repair and cleaning. Available for manual operation with adjustable float switch. These single phase models have a built in capacitor.

Materials

Pump and motor body, handle, cover and screen in 304 Stainless Steel. Brackets in forged brass. Impellers, Diffusers and separators in reinforced NORYL. Each pump stage is fitted with a Stainless Steel ring for wear resistance. The capacitor housing is constructed from reinforced MOPLEN. The motor shaft is in 420 Stainless Steel. The mechanical seal is Alumina / Graphite, oil lubricated. A special lip seal is also fitted to help protect against sand.

The operating curves only apply to the revolving speed indicated. Any variation in speed would vary performance accordingly. The pump tests comply with the requirements of ISP 2548, class C standards

The Submersible pump with the float switch is designed to pump water until the water level is low and then it switches off. The tank is then refilled and the cycle continues.

The idea of including the 'pressure control switch' is to turn the pump on and off when the taps are turned on and off, just as a normal household pressure pump would.

Turning taps on and off:
The pressure control switch is used to turn the pump on and off automatically when the tap is turned on and off.

Tank water level:

The float switch monitors the water level in the tank.
When the tank is full, the float on the switch is standing vertically The ball in the float switch rolls towards the other end releasing the button on the micro switch and so the pump starts... if a tap is turned on at the time (when the 'Pressure Control Switch is included in the line). At this angle the switch will allow the pump to pump water.

When the water reaches a certain low level, the float switch valve will lay down horizontally on top of the water. When it is at the horizontal angle the ball presses down on the arm, which in turn via the lever presses the button on the micro switch, breaking a circuit and so the pump stops. This switches the pump off until the tank is refilled and the float switch is standing vertically again. Once the water level is restored, the float switch then resets itself and the pump will run once more.

By adjusting the amount of 'slack cable' to the float switch, determines when it will operate. In order for the float switch to work, it must be able to tilt up and down on the water surface with no obstructions.
