Fully Automatic Pressure Pumps |
|
| |
|
I have gauged the amount of tap pressure from my own experiences. Having one of these units supplying water to my own 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom home.

I have a rainwater tank which supplies water to the house fed by this 1.2hp automatic pressure pump with an automatic pump control unit (same as the one above).
There is more than enough pressure to have 6 taps turned on (flat out) at the same time, this includes two showers.
This means you could have the washing machine filling up, two showers going, the sprinkler watering the lawn, the dishwasher filling and the toilet filling up at the same time without much loss of pressure.

I took a photo of the tap in my kitchen while it was turned on (top photo). I then turned two other taps on and took a photo (middle photo). Then I turned 5 other taps on and took a photo (bottom photo). As you can see, there is plenty of pressure with one tap turned on and not much pressure drop with 6 taps on. I feel confident in rating this pump with 6 taps. |
